Our Tale
The Old Rectory is believed to date back to the 17th century. So, in 2021 when the refurbishment began, care was taken to preserve the architecture and characteristics of the building. Today The Old Rectory has a bold beauty, fusing style and daring colours to encapsulate the outstanding natural beauty of the environment.
The furnishings bring together old and new with influences from across the globe. Modern efficiencies make for an easy stay, while the fabrics, textures and hues, breathe tranquillity.
The Old Rectory is ideal for family holidays, group getaways, shoot parties and business team building events. We are dog friendly and welcome up to a maximum of two medium sized dogs.
The Kirkstyle Inn and Sportsman’s Rest
The Kirkstyle, our pub and restaurant, is literally next door. It is recognised for its beautiful food and great selection of beers and wines. It is very popular with local and visitors to the area. We recommend booking a table, which you can do by visiting the website and clicking the ‘Book a Table’ button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
The Kirkstyle serves food from Thursday to Sunday. Please note: the kitchen is closed Monday to Wednesday for lunch and dinner. Please see our opening times here.
